GCEDC has set the supplemental public hearing on the proposed data center complex for Thursday, April 16 at 4pm at the Town of Alabama Fire Hall. RSVP here to let us know you’re coming. Then tell all your neighbors, friends, and family. We want an even bigger turnout this time! Read the March 19 hearing transcript here.

GCEDC has also extended the deadline for written comments on the proposal to Friday, April 17 at midnight. Keep those comments rolling in! Use our one click tool and our suggested talking points. Tell everyone in your life to submit a comment… or many! and, keep pressuring GCEDC to meet ALL our demands. Send the Board another email!

At their last meeting, the Town of Alabama Planning Board voted to deem the site plan application complete and set the site plan hearing for Monday, April 20 at 6pm at the Town of Alabama Fire Hall. This is a critical opportunity to voice your concerns and is open to all. Following the public hearing, the Planning Board will vote whether to approve, disapprove, or to request more info. Recently, members of the Town of Alabama Planning Board and the Town Board, as well as the Town Attorney (who is also the County Attorney) and several other County employees visited STREAM US Data Center facilities in Texas. STREAM paid for their trip. We’re calling on public officials and employees who attended the trip must share what they learned on the trip with the public, and ideally as part of the public record. We continue to call on Kathy Hochul to take a stance in opposition to the monster data center plan. Send her an email, then call her office at 518-474-8390.
