This week in the campaign:
- Monday, July 13 at 7pm - Town of Alabama Board Meeting at the Alabama Fire Hall. Public comment is allowed at the start of the meeting.
- Wednesday, July 15 at 6pm - Desserts and Data Center Discussions with Allies of TSN at GOART! 201 E. Main St. in Batavia + on zoom. We anticipate that we will be sharing a major campaign update, come join us.
Coming up
- Saturday, July 25 - NYS Assembly Member Steve Hawley is hosting a series of three Town Halls in Genesee County. Go tell him what you think of the data center (he says it’s a ‘local issue’ and has refused to take a stance)
Last week in the campaign:
- Monday, July 6 - A group of 7 Genesee County residents met with 12 of Governor Kathy Hochul’s top staffers on economic development, labor, energy, and the environment. We told them to pass along this message: Genesee County says NO to the proposed STAMP data center! It’s a bad investment for our County and for the region and the state. We urged the Governor to take action to stop the data center NOW: we know she has that power.
- Let’s keep sending that message loud and clear: Sign up to call the Governor during our next weekly call relay on Thursday, July 16.
